The property is almost entirely wooded other than an open area near the road front that would be a great place to set up home or camp. The owner used to pull his camper up the hill on the south side and camp in the forest. The forest is comprised of hard maple, soft maple, cherry, red oak, beech and other mast producing species that are keeping the deer and turkey well fed. The property is only 1/4 mile from thousands of acres of NYS Land for additional hunting and hiking opportunities as well as the developed equestrian trail system and snowmobile trail system. All oil, gas, mineral and timber rights transfer. The property is subject to an older gas lease and benefits from minor royalties from gas wells on adjacent properties. No free gas is available and the royalties were only about $75 for 2025.
